Life keeps getting better and there is always something new to look forward to. The city has everything you could want, from its roads to public transportation. There is a lot of greenery, and in the warmer months, flowers brighten the streets and the landscape around them. Since Jebel Jais is the highest peak in the UAE, it is the coolest place in the country during the summer. In the fall and winter, picnics, barbeques, and other social events can be held on the clean beaches and in the large parks.
When we go to the smaller Emirates of Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates, the land changes significantly. I’ve never had a better mountain ride in a car than the ones I took up Jebel Hafeet. Since I first heard about the Jebel Jais mountain road trip a few months ago, I’ve wanted to go. I wanted to go when it got cooler, and I could finally do so in December. Since the road just opened, there are few things to see, but it’s still a nice drive.
If you like long road trips and being outside, you might enjoy this route as much as I did. We have seen mountain goats sometimes, even at the top of some mountains. The road went along the way that the wind had carved into the rocky face of the mountains. Keep in mind that the nighttime temperatures at the peak of the Jais Mountains may be cold in December. If you plan to go there, pack warm winter clothes.

We still can’t drive to the peak, but we can get very close. You can leave your car here, set up a tent, and enjoy the view from the top of the mountain. The number of tents, grills, and fire pits we saw showed how many groups of people were camping. Others gathered close to the food truck. It had everything you need for a picnic, even paper plates, and cups. Even if the picnic party ran out of food, the cafeteria man always seemed to have everything they needed. Garbage trucks picked up and took away the trash. It makes me sad to see people pollute and hurt the environment. Everyone should pick up trash when they go to a natural area to help keep the environment clean.
From the peak, you can see the ocean
The naked eye could see the ocean, but the image was fuzzy. I didn’t bring my shoes because I didn’t think I’d be in the mountains. Now I want to go back and get them. It could be very uncomfortable to park your car and then take the wrong turn up a hill. Many people were hiking and climbing smaller peaks.

Since there are no power poles on the road, zigzagging down a hill in the dark is dangerous. We decided to go because it was still light out. After reading that people were setting up tents near the top, I decided to check it out myself. My trip to the top of Jebel Jais Mountain was an exciting adventure I liked telling others about. If the weather is nice, this trip is fun any day of the week. This was helpful.

Hiking is another thing people who go to Jebel Jais Mountain can do in the area. All mountain hiking trails keep up so that people can see the sights. But because the track is close to the mountain’s environment, you may learn something about it as you hike. The paths are 16 km long, with 8 km in the upper part and 8 km in the lower region. So, if you’re traveling with your family, now is the best time to enjoy the view from this mountain.

Similarly, there are several rest stops in Jebel Jais where you can grab a bite to eat and enjoy the fantastic views. First, we’ll talk about the Puro Express. This snack shop is right in the middle of Deck Park. This hut has pastries, pizza, salad, and other light foods to save energy for harder tasks. These rest stops are great for keeping your energy up so you can stay on the mountain as long as possible to enjoy the view.
