It’s possibly the most spectacular Alaska cruise you’ve ever had.
Holland America on Tuesday announced plans for a unique travel journey towards the Last Frontier that will include trips to remote areas that cruise ships typically do not make a stop in.
The Alaska Arctic Circle best mother daughter trip Solstice voyage is, as Holland America calls it, will last for 28 nights which is more than four times longer than the usual Alaska cruise — and includes ports of call in over 12 ports.

It will start with Seattle on June 9th, 2024 it will also offer an excursion via the Bering Strait to the Arctic Ocean that will time to coincide with the summer solstice – the longest day of the calendar.
The time of the day will give all daytime hours available because the ship will be sailing over the Arctic Circle.
The voyage is unlike anything that the line has done before. It will aboard the ferry that carries 1,964 passengers Wester dam which is one of six vessels in the fleet that Holland America plans to deploy to the Alaska market in this summer 2024. This will be a departure from the normal schedule for Wester dam, which is seven-night Alaska sailings that depart from Seattle.
Along with a journey via the Bering Strait and in the Arctic Circle, the 28-night journey will also include a unique visit to Nome in the most northern settlements located in the United States. With fewer than 4,000 inhabitants It’s most likely best known as the place where you can finish the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Travel is also famous because of its closeness to Russia located just a few hundred kilometers from the West.

Other destinations that are mother daughter trips unique are the remote village in Dutch Harbor in the Aleutian Islands. Furthermore, Wester dam will sail into Cook Inlet for an overnight stop in Anchorage which is Alaska’s largest city. Very few vessels that sail are on Alaska cruises will ever stop in Anchorage because of the distance that is require for travel to get there. the town through Cook Inlet.
